Terms of service

1. Who we are

Gigmarq (gigmarq.com) is operated by Ticket Live SAS (sole-shareholder simplified joint-stock company, société par actions simplifiée unipersonnelle), registered office 60 rue François 1er, 75008 Paris, France, SIREN 990 858 680 (“we”, “us”). You can contact us at contact@gigmarq.com.

2. What we sell

We resell tickets for concerts and live events on the secondary market. We are not the event organiser, promoter, venue or official ticket seller, and we are not affiliated with any artist, promoter or venue. Our prices are set by us and may be higher than the face value printed on the ticket. If tickets are still available from the official seller, they may be cheaper there.

3. Information shown before you buy

In line with the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, before you pay we show for each ticket: the event, date and venue; the ticket category; the face value (original price) of the ticket; the block, row and seat number or standing area where applicable; and any restriction on the use of the ticket (for example photo ID or an age limit). We only list tickets that we hold at the time of listing.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include our service fee and any applicable VAT. The full price breakdown is shown again before you pay. Payment is taken when you place your order. Your order is confirmed by email.

5. Delivery of tickets

Tickets are delivered electronically: by transfer through the official ticketing app, by email (e-ticket or PDF), or by another method stated on the listing. Delivery takes place at the latest 48 hours before the start of the event, unless another time is stated on the listing. Some organisers only release tickets close to the event date; this is normal. Please make sure the name and email address you give us are correct, and follow any instructions we send to accept a ticket transfer.

6. Use of tickets

Tickets remain subject to the terms and conditions of the event organiser and venue, including entry rules, prohibited items, age limits and ID checks. You must not resell or transfer tickets in breach of the organiser's terms. Entry may be refused by the venue for reasons unrelated to the ticket itself (for example behaviour, intoxication or failure to follow venue rules); in such cases we cannot offer a refund.

7. Cancellation, postponement and refunds

Our Refund policy forms part of these terms. In summary: if an event is cancelled and not rescheduled, you receive a full refund within 14 days; if it is postponed or moved, you may keep your tickets for the new date or request a full refund; if we cannot deliver the tickets you bought, or if valid tickets you bought from us are refused at the venue because of a problem with the ticket itself, we will provide equivalent or better tickets where possible or a full refund.

8. Right of withdrawal

Tickets for an event on a specific date are leisure services covered by the exception to the 14-day cancellation right (regulation 28(1)(g) of the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and article L.221-28 12° of the French Consumer Code). Once your order is confirmed, you cannot cancel it simply because you changed your mind. This does not affect your rights under section 7.

9. Our responsibility

We are responsible for the tickets we sell matching their description and being delivered on time. We are not responsible for the content, organisation or quality of the event itself, which is the responsibility of the organiser. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Complaints

If something goes wrong, contact us first at contact@gigmarq.com with your order number. We aim to reply within 2 working days and resolve complaints within 14 days.

11. Personal data

We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy policy.

12. Applicable law

These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer living in the United Kingdom or elsewhere, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence, and you may bring a claim in the courts of your country of residence.
